Known Errors In Kexi Packages: ArchiveThis is an archive. Read the current document. 0.8 Stable (bundled with KOffice 1.4)SuSE Linux 10.xAuthor: SuSE Team Reported by: staniek@kde.org Problem1: SQLite-related errors in Kexi package (KOffice 1.4.1) Status: fixed in 1.0 Kexi has bundled its own version of SQLite 2 and 3. I can see you removed it and added a dependency on reguilar sqlite package. This will cause crashes and/or nonworking Kexi features, like sqlite2->sqlite3 conversions. Compatibility with sqlite2 is thus broken. Decision for bundling sqlite with Kexi has been made because of a need for long-term compatibility. Proposed solution:
Reported here: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=121933 Problem2: PostgreSQL driver bundled with KOffice, making it hard to install Status: fixed in 1.0 PostgreSQL driver should be offered as a separate package (Kexi itself shouldn't depend on PostgresSQL). The same as with MySQL. We will support Oracle in the future but this shouldn't mean KOffice needs Oracle to run.
