Planned Features for Kexi 1.0

Our main goals for this release are (ordered by priority):

Core/Backend:

• [IN PROGRESS] Further enhancements in the database library (KexiDB)
  • [DONE]] Support for images storage (large objects - BLOBs)

User interface:

• [ALMOST DONE] Further improvements for Table & Query editors
• [PLANNED] Continuous Forms, Tabular Forms (later)

New modules

• Scripting plugin (Python) to extend functionality (including example script for HTML export)
• [PLANNED] Simple reports (later, because of a need for syncing with KOffice 1.5 release)
• [IN PROGRESS] Scripting (Python) (later)

Data Migration

• [IN PROGRESS] More import and export features, improvements for existing Migration Wizard
